I just wonder how long it will last. These aren't new and as a result it's quirky (the screen only lights up on one half at times). I just restart it and it comes on full screen though.
Don't know what to do with my old one, maybe use it for target practice as Palm wants to charge more to fix it than a refurbished one cost The Palm Tungsten/e I obtained was better then expected. The price paid was outstand and getting ready to order another one.
I received telephone support on two occasions at no charge. I needed to upgrade from an earlier version of Palm and save my addresses, etc. I was very pleased with the Tungsten E that I received from Guaranteed Tech. It was like new and performed very well.I was even more impressed with the technical support I received.
Factory new, not refurbished. What happened to the price. Because I assumed it was some bad luck I experienced, I purchased another Palm, this time a Tungsten 2E. Now I have to pay over $400 for something which typically breaks down within two years. Dead.I loved the functionality, and I am really helpless without the hundreds of contacts, my to-do list and my agenda. Two weeks ago my third Palm in six years broke down.
Then it started to behave erratically, leading to a complete breakdown. As far as I can recall, the last Tungsten I bought for $200,- or so. The first one was my own fault, I dropped it on the floor and the display cracked. But a PDA has to be reliable. The Tungsten doesn't come exactly cheap either. Is this a joke or so. The second one was a Tungsten E which lasted a little less than 2 years.
It has functioned for about 2 years, then when I wanted to switch it on, it remained black.
I would recomment the seller. The seller kept me informed with the shipment. Excellent sales experience. The merchandise was exactly as avertised.
